All Hands AI is hiring Agent/Code Generation Researchers to help us reimagine software development.

We're the company behind OpenHands (https://github.com/All-Hands-AI/OpenHands), an LLM-powered software agent. OpenHands can write code, run commands, browse the web, and even solve GitHub issues end-to-end. We have a flourishing open-source community, and All Hands AI is ensuring that the community continues to grow sustainably.

You'll be a founding employee at the company, one of our first hires. There will be tons of opportunities to learn and grow as our team expands. We're building a culture that emphasizes kindness, candor, autonomy, and learning--and we'd love for you to be a part of it!

We are specifically looking for a researcher to improve our agent and code generation capabilities. You will be responsible for:

• Incorporating the best research work on agents and code generation into the OpenHands framework
• Performing novel improvements in areas of interest to improve agent performance and efficiency 
• Running and implementing evaluations to ensure agent quality
• Implementing infrastructure related to evaluating or serving code generation agents
• Collaborating with the open-source community on research initiatives

We're looking for candidates with relevant experience in at least some of the following areas:

• Examples of significant projects in LLM prompting, LLM-based agents, or Code Generation

• Graduate research in related fields
• Significant experience in collaborative development of Python projects

You don't need to have experience in all these areas to apply.

Salary: $125-200k/year

Equity: 0.5-1.5%

We're a fully remote company, but we have core hours of 12-4pm ET (4-8pm UTC), when all employees are expected to be available.
